Minor Prophets or The Twelve Prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures form the conclusion of the Old Testament in your Bible. They are often, understandably so, skipped over because of their confusing rhetoric and strange images. Take a deep breath, you’re normal. However, we want to rectify this by diving into them to get a more robust understanding of the Bible and the story leading up to Jesus.

In this engrossing series, we will discover the inspiring stories of God’s Prophets who had the courage to take a moral stand against the corrupt powers of their day; foreign and domestic. In their historical context, oppression, inequality, and injustice were rampant toward the most vulnerable. The timelessness and relevancy of these voices quickly become apparent and these Prophets inevitably challenged nations to repent. An unpopular but necessarily vocation in a broken world.

It is not all dark though.

In the Minor Prophets God’s beautiful heart is uniquely on display as One deeply concerned about justice, integrity, love, and mercy. God is not swayed by the affairs of the powerful but moved by His concerns for the powerless. Here we find hope for a fractured and hyper-polarized world.
