MAY UPDATE

May Update

- We partnered with the Township of Langley for clean-up day Langley at the end of April. Over 1960 kg (4,321 lbs) of garbage was removed from public spaces by over 400 volunteers all throughout Langley. That is over 1,000 lbs more litter than last years event! We had a great Saturday, and saw people arrive throughout the day to brave the rain and clean-up Langley.

- There were three dinner parties hosted throughout April. We saw groups gather in Pitt Meadows, Cloverdale and Langley. Over 35 unique individuals were apart of those nights. We are planning to host our second round later this month with an additional location in the works.

- We are meeting regularly as a team on Sunday nights growing as a team, preparing for upcoming events and laying foundation for the church.

- April saw our team grow to 15, our partnership campaign reach $94 000 committed (updated), and our prayer team across Canada has grown to 135 unique individuals and groups. If you have been considering financially supporting City Collective you can do so by going to our partnership campaign below for more information.

- We launched our Facebook platform at the beginning of April and our Instagram platform went live at the beginning of May. If you click the links below it will take you directly to the pages to follow along if you haven't already.

- We are sharing some of our identity and story via our blog platform. We will be sharing links to new blogs via social media where you can follow along, but would also ask that if you enjoy them, please share the post! That would be of great help in helping us generate some momentum.

- You will also find our updated May prayer list below.

Thanks!

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
